How do I get to the hostel from LaGuardia?

Taxi - Take a cab to 891 Amsterdam Avenue. Prices are from $21-$30 plus tolls. The taxis are available during flight hours at taxi stands located outside of the terminal. The approximately travel time is between 30 to 40 minutes longer on peak hours.

Subway - Take the Q33 bus that connects with the (7) subway train. Take the # 7 train to Manhattan, 42nd street- Times Square. At Times Square transfer to the 1 train uptown. Get off at 103rd Street. On Broadway, walk one block east to 891 Amsterdam Ave.

Bus - Take the M60 towards Manhattan; get off at 106th Street and Broadway Avenue. Then walk to 103rd street and Amsterdam Ave.

Express Buses - New York Airport Service Express Bus: Take the bus to Port Authority transfer to the 1 train going uptown. Get off at 103rd Street and walk one block east. Hostelling International is on the corner of 103rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue. The price ranges from $10-$12. The travel time can vary from 30-45 minutes, even during longer at peak hours.

- Shuttle: Take a from the airport shuttle to 891 Amsterdam Avenue. The rate is from $15-$22. The shuttle is on demand between 7:00AM to 11:00PM. Call 1(800) 358-5826

GHD Precious GHD Precious Gift Set GHD Straighteners My old GHD Precious Gift Set broke and I couldn't afford a pair of GHD Precious 's at that time so on the recommendation of a friend I tried these which were on the shelf at Woolworths.At ￡30 they were a lot cheaper than GHD Precious's or other salon stylers. My hair is mid length and slightly wavy.Due to the texture it's not easy to straighten and I need the higher heat settings to get a successful result. At that time of purchase these GHD Precious Gift Set were some of the hottest in the price range, the majority of the alternatives were around the 180-200 degrees maximum temperature. At full temperature these make even bone dry hair steam! They straighten hair quickly but it does appear flat afterwards.I also found that I got kinks in my hair from the straight sides of the plates.I also found that my hair became a little flyaway afterwards,even when using serum. They are recommended for use on dry hair.So I am very satisfied with the GHD Straighteners.
